I think we are missing out on the main benefits of working out due to the influencer era.
Your feed can get flooded with pictures and these guys who look like gods and goddesses, chiseled out of rock.
This provides a warped sense of what it means to be in shape. This is not the reality & although YOU may think people care if you have a 6 pack…no one cares, only you do.
Let me explain why looks don’t really mean good training or actual results you can bet your house on. GOOD SERVICE keeps business FOREVER, FADS come & go & PEOPLE can only be fooled a few times. Business for this population is temporary.
This population often have a few key advantages over most people:
Part of their job is to work out so they have more time and can give more time to this, than you.
Great or good genetics! a profile that allows them to maintain a lower body fat percentage.
They're on lots of chemical enhancers that help them build muscle and maintain a lower body fat percentage more easily.
However, even with that, many of those influencers aren't really in great shape. Not when you consider the entire context of what it means to be in shape.
While they may look good on the surface, things might be pretty scary underneath the surface. Things like fertility issues, heart complications, and digestive illnesses along with eating disorders and depression are common. Of course, all you see is the highlight reel they display on social media.
In reality, being in shape doesn't necessarily mean being a size zero or having sub-10% body fat.
You want to be in a place where you look pretty good & MOST IMPORTANTLY feel really good about yourself & confident in your skin.
