If your goal is to lose the weight, the more you can do these “suggestions” daily & consistently, within the 30 days, the better your results. Even if you don’t follow every suggestion, you will see results regardless, just not the entire 7-10 pounds.
Drink electrolyte water - hydrate first thing in the morning salt is optional, lemon works really well too. Will help you go to the bathroom in the am to help cleanse the gut.
Have a high protein breakfast - this will reduce your hunger during the day. yes chicken, steak or fish & eggs can be breakfast.
Stop snacking. This is the hardest one, for most of the 9-5 workers, however you are mostly bored & need to just hold off till lunch.
Stay hydrated, drink ~ 1/2 your body weight in pounds in oz (200 lb person, drink 100 oz.) per day
Focus less on eating "the perfect diet", Focus More on protein & portion control.
Stop eating at 80% full. This will help with bloating, energy and weight loss.
Lift weights for 30-45 minutes 3-4X/ week.(SUPER KEY)
Walk 15-30 minutes every day.
Eat mostly nutritious whole foods, 80-90% of the time. Eat the foods you like 10-20% of the time. Consistency is the goal. Not perfection.
Coffee can suppress appetite. Not the greatest for brain flow, however it will help your bowel movements & keep you less hungry. Plain dark coffee, with no sugar, is the best choice to get these benefits.
Do cardio 3x/week. I.E: get on a stationary bike or just walk the 15-30 min as stated in suggestion #8.
Eliminate some, NOT ALL of the junk food from your house. You have to learn to control your urges, in life you will attend parties & events with food, don’t CREATE a negative relationship with junk food.
Eat slower & thoroughly chew your food. This has been scientifically found to reduce calorie intake by 20%.
The best pre-workout is no pre-workout. Try to drink a lot of water & eat something light like fruit with a ½ of rice or a slice of bread.
Being sleep deprived has been found to increase caloric intake the next day by 440 calories! Prioritize your sleep to improve your weight loss results.
Magnesium, inositol and glycine are some of the best supplements you can take for sleep.
A lack of protein is the main reason why you are overeating and constantly hungry. Make sure you have 30-50 grams of protein with each meal. Protein is important lol.
Find exercises you enjoy. The only way you will be consistent with your workout routine is if you actually enjoy doing it. if you feel lost about exercise selection or safety, hire me. We can work together & make a plan that feels comfortable for you.
You must commit to working out on a daily basis. It needs to be viewed as a lifelong HABIT that becomes your lifestyle. Not something you do as punishment for eating bad.
Your relationship with physical movement & food must shift mentally, when these shift in the mind, the physical work becomes easier.
