EVERYTHING we do involves our brain.The first thing we have to accept, is that this work can give us a feeling of being tired & drained. We tend to disregard this when it comes to having energy after working a 9-5pm to do something like exercise.

I encourage clients to work out before the day gets crazy which is before the Kids are up & the world gets to its busy nature. If you really cant in the AM, what can you do to be sharper after work to get something done to improve our life for the better?

  1. Eat a very light lunch in the days you really want to get some extra stuff done. When we begin to digest, a lot of energy goes towards that so our mental loses focus & we get tired. This will keep you feel fresher after work.

  2. On your way home, dont listen to anything in the car! Also try not to be on the phone for that time. This will give you a nice mental break & allow you to check in with yourself, to count your blessings & plan CLEARLY, what you’ll do after work. A plan helps with execution.

  3. Get home & take a cold shower! this one sounds crazy, however we all can do it. This one will take mental toughness, however it will also revitalize your mind & body & give you some refreshing energy.

These can all give you the edge to exercise, which is a much better & proven way, to improve Mental health, energy & toughness due to the concepts of discipline & time that exercising teach you if you can learn the habit, WHICH YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN.
